Can someone else take my child to the doctor?

Hi all, just wondering if someone can answer this question, it might seem logical to someone but I haven't had to do this before. My daughter has a doctor appointment at the end of the week but I have to be away that day and can't get out of it. Just wondering would my sister be allowed to bring her to the appointment? We are all members of the same surgery.

Yes. I work as a Nanny and have often attended doctor's appointments with children when parents are unable due to work.
As long as your sister is aware of any medical history, allergies and can answer the doctors questions regarding symptoms, there should not be any issue.
