Went into Cooney's last week thinking of buying a suite of furniture. Seen one we liked and called the assistant over. Asked the usual questions and were on the verge of buying when my husband ask do you deliver. Yes your man says but it's and extra 50euro.

Husband says I dont think much of that when I am paying over 2000e for a suite. To which the assistant replied suit yourself and turned on his heel and walked away like a child in a huff.

We laugh about it now but it was definatly bad service

Aye had the same experience myself, it would be better if they displayed the price with delivery included; that way when people try to haggle they can knock the €50 off, or if they want it delivered then can say they'll deliver for free.
