1 for a 7 yr old.

I'd be aiming for €200 for both.
They don't have to be the same 11 yr old will mind it more

Their newer lineup are made to come apart and are flexible, so instead of snapping they break apart and you just slot them back together.

hyper x clouds are €63 in argos. seem to work with a variety of devices.

The set Stone Deaf linked are great for the price and all a young kid would need. The Core version are even cheaper.

sematic nitpicking, but the headphones themselves aren't loud - they have the ability to play sounds at loud volume. The volume output can be adjusted in the relevant console menus.

its something I haven't looked into - but is it possible to restrict the volume output in the console parental controls?

Either way - I reckon you'll struggle to get any headset with a microphone that also has a built in volume restriction.
