Vw central locking issue

    Hi All,

I have an intermittent central locking issue with my 07 Jetta. When I lock the car with the fob not all the doors lock (mainly the drivers door and one of the back doors sometimes do not lock). However when I lock with the key all the doors lock just fine.

When I use the fob to unlock the car all the doors unlock fine (same unlocking with the key all doors unlock fine).

It appears I need two new door lock actuators on my car.
My first question is, could I continue to just use my key to lock and unlock my doors (not ideal but could save me money) or is it only a matter of time before the key starts to fail also?
Also my second question, if lock failure is only a matter of time should I look at disabling the Safelock feature so at least I can open my doors from the inside if the locks fail (provided they don't all fail the same day)?
