eBay - accidental duplicate orders and no delivery date

I placed an order on eBay on Friday and clicked to "request a total".

I got an error message so I tried again. Still the same so I contacted eBay support. The agent tried it twice more and it still failed.

I then noticed the order appeared four times in my purchase history. The agent kept blabbing on asking me which one Wanted to pay for and ignoring the fat there had been a mistake so I messaged the seller myself.

A couple of hours later I got a very apologetic reply that he had not seen my message about canceling the orders and that he had already posted them.

I figured it wasn't his fault but I have just seen in my purchase history that none of the four orders have an estimated delivery date.

Nor is there any matching transaction on my PayPal.

Does this mean the seller is not telling the truth? That he still has the orders and has not posted?

EDIT: I was distracted by other stuff over the weekend and only copped to the missing delivery date and Paypal transaction when their support lines were closed.

    Maybe, have you asked eBay?

    Maybe, have you asked eBay?

the support chat and phone are closed. hence why I asked here.

Is it possible to block future payments on Paypal in the account settings?

I can't see any options but my life would be easier if I could stop the guy getting pain until I'm Abe to phone Paypal or get eBay support

EDIT: I removed the card from my Paypal wallet. I assume that is enough to prevent the eBay seller getting his money. I'm also assuming that since the transactions are not o my Paypal activity that it is not possible that he has been paid.
