5x3 quad/lambing trailer

    Are these trailers worth the money (900-1000 euro)? Strongly considering buying one but would only really be used for a month in the year.

    Get a 7 by 4 , a 400 cc will handle it easy and you can put it on the car

    Buy it second hand as running gear isn't important, brakes, etc

    Would a 7x4 be easily pulled through a wet field for outdoor lambing?

    A neighbour uses one all the time, but there's wet land and there's wet land, I have a 6 by 3 and always regretted not buying a car trailer, quad is 500 cc though, buy it right and you can sell it again if not happy.
    I'd sell the 6 by 3 but the quad and equipment is OHs toys :D:D

    Would it be possible to get a 7x4 trailer with off road tyres?

    There's one advertised with dual purpose tyre so they must be available
    Anyway outside your budget I suppose, but a trailer just for lambing is a bit of a luxury, we only use ours a few times a year

    5x3 is big enough for a quad will take 2 ewes and there lambs
    Have a 500cc here any bigger and it would be struggling

    Really? Have a 500 foreman here, 7x4 is the main trailer. No issue pullin it full of ewes. And cleaned out the sheds in the summer and put a 10 x 5 tuff mac double axle behind her loaded with dung. Not a bother.

    If it fits on the ball hitch sure it must be able to pull it, quad ball hitch here is too low for our 10 by 5
