Hive Active Heating System+addons or any other Wireless Security System alternative?

    Just purchased 2 year BordGais Electricity and Gas Dual fuel bundle. Along comes free Hive Active Heating kit worth €299.

    I am thinking about adding few addons like 1 motion sensor + 2 door sensors and 2 outdoor cameras. I dont want some company monitoring the house.

    I want the cameras to record videos day and night and store locally on a NAS or ext USB drive.

    I have 200+ Mbps internet connection at home and want to have real time monitoring possible via mobile phone / laptop etc.

    Shall I buy a dedicated security system or go with some thing like the Hive system?

    Any suggestions on companies that do this cheap / best value for money? Plz pm.

    Appreciate any help?

    No, I havent opted for the cameras. Just the heating...
