Looking for a second hand estate - 5k max

Looking to get an estate, under 5k, and preferably closer to bangernomics money.

I do about 5k km a year, so a diesel probably wouldn't be the most suitable, unless its a model with no dpf, etc. Equally, I'm not too stressed about fuel economy. Coming from an '06 Mazda 6 petrol hatch, so I'm used to a sportyish drive (relatively speaking), so something similar would be great.

Obviously the nicer the car the better hence why I'm relaxed enough about going above my bangernomics budget target, but I doubt I'll get into a 5 series touring, etc. without issues for that money (though I could be wrong?).

    So as such, criteria are:
    - Petrol (preferably)
    - At least a 2006, but preferably newer
    - Air con and leather would be nice (and as many extras/as much luxury as reasonably possible, sunroof would be great, as would a quiet interior)
    - Reliable, and not too difficult to maintain doing my own basic servicing, brakes, etc.
    - Ideally not too difficult to insure
    - Tax at a max of 700 would be nice (so a 2 litre max on the old tax).

Been browsing foresters, volvo v70s, 9-5s, but a lot of them are starting to look rather dated and it's hard to find one that's not a complete heap for a reasonable price.

Any recommendations on what to look for would be very welcome.

Some options so far below. Not mad gone on VWs, but the passat seems nice for the money. Also, perhaps I'm wrong, but all three below seem a bit strong on price.
