It used to be that sky go wasn’t useable outside the UK & Ireland, now it is.

    Anyone know what changed?

You can now watch Amazon prime anywhere in the EU. This will all change back af 31st March due to Brexit

Thanks for explaining everybody. So brexit closes this window. That’s annoying.

How so? Ireland is still in the EU.

Sorry. I didn't explain that very well. Right now I can get prime video UK here in Ireland. By the end of March I will no longer be able to get it

So will sky go be watchable in France or germany beyond the end of march?

If sky have Irish customers then EU law covers these customers. If you have an Irish account then you can use sky go anywhere in the EU. UK sky customers won't be able to get sky go in the EU after March. They will lose many rights. Free Mobile phone roaming is another one they will miss.

Yes, as long as it's within the EU. Keep in mind you need to be an 'Irish' user and it won't work permanently abroad.

Great, will be nice to have when travelling.

Presume you still can't cast it though

I'd bet that you never will be able to.

Would there be consequences for the subscriber in Ireland if someone abroad is using his sky go account regularly?

There's none when doing in the same country anyway

That is not what I asked.

At least 10 years in prison for doing that.

    Is Now TV the same?

30 days and then you get shut down until you view from your home country again

Is it possible to Screen Share/Mirror Sky Go in Ireland? I don't think so, pls correct me otherwise!
Thinking only the UK version of the SkyGO App has a "cast" icon on the top right corner of the app.
    Cheers

No you can’t. Only way to output to TV is using a laptop or supported games console.

My understanding is that it’s the same in the UK too.
