Tablet for sorting/editing and uploading

Hi, I normally use Lightroom on my laptop for sorting/editing my pictures. The laptop is getting old and slow, would a tablet Samsung etc be up to the task of editing sorting my pics? Is there an app for editing similar to Lightroom for tablets? Sorry if it's been covered before,

You can get lightroom for tablets, and it's quite good but a bit limited in what you can do. I would think it is only good as a secondary device to use on the go rather than a main device for sorting and storing photos. A computer/laptop is really the best way to go in terms of a proper editing setup.
