Seriously, what is a bale of silage/hay going for in different parts of the country?
    It's not feed, it's bedding.

Oh and here was me putting the turf in the feeder and the hay in the stove!

Anyway I was inquiring at the local coop about bale prices. I was told silage was going locally for €25 a bale and Hay €30. The co op is selling round bales of straw for €35. Is this in line with the rest of the country?

Jesus that's a no brainer if you can get good quality silage bales for 25..then anything near or above that price for straw ain't worth it.. straw should be 10 below silage and feed 30% or so with silage simply to stretch the silage
