I have a need of a 10 foot (or more) HDMI cable.

Are these just as reliable as regular lengths if I stick with a brand like Belkin ?

I've extra long USB iPhone cables in the past and they have a very limited life span. They just seem to die even when there is no damage.

For a normal passive cable , the limit is 8 meters or approx 25 feet.

10 feet or about 3 meters should be fine.
