My twitter became read-only

So, I was having it toe to toe with some dregs of society & bots on the aul tweetbox Monday night last, thought “that’s a bit much, I’ll leave it out”, head on to another topic (lion king), next thing i know I can’t like anything. Try to post “hey, I can’t like anything”, and it doesn’t post. Huh, odd I think, but before I get the chance to look up what’s going on, I get an email about my 2nd, never used, twitter, saying “this is banned for trying to circumvent a permanent suspension.” I believe my words were Uru? Huh? Oh.

Apart from that email & a “we received your message” message when’s I posted back to them, I haven’t heard bumpkiss. Still don’t know what prompted the suspension in the first place (though I have an idea), or how long it’s going to be.

A shame, but I’ll live. Jonesing to post random stuff to strangers though......

I think it was something about “800 years of The Brits means we can outlast you” being taken as “we fought the Brits for 800 years so we know how to fight you”.
