Chinese nicking our genes

Saw the news that an Irish company, Irish genomic Ireland, will be hiring hundreds of new people in order to gather and map the genomes of 400'000 Irish people in order to combat disease.

So far so boring.

However the Irish company was struggling recently and was bought out by WuXi Next code, a Chinese company (anchored in usa).

Considering the downright dystopia emerging out of China, using CRISPr techniques (with the obvious intention to genetically alter people), their concentration camps and education camps, their soon-to-be-implemented social points system (think "likes" on boards, but meaning the difference between allowed get on a plane, who you can marry etc)... Do you trust this "initiative"?

Assuming our government won't trip over themselves in the rush to aid in handing our genetic information, would you like that info filtering through to the Chinese lunatics?
