    Hi,

At a juncture. Going to Bangkok next July. Flights with Emirates are very cheap for me and other half but it’s Economy. Anyone any experience with flying long hauls in Emirates Economy? Business class is 6k.

KLM has business and is 1600 euro cheaper than Emirates.

    Thanks in advance.

Emirates Economy is decent as economy goes. Assuming it’s via Dubai? The flights aren’t outegously long to warrant paying 6k IMO. Personally I’d save the 5.5k and use it for nicer hotels.

Yeah I suppose your right, 6+ hrs to Dubai, 3hr stop over then onto Bangkok 7hrs I think KLM flight is straight from schiphol at around 10-11hrs.

KLM direct from Schipol would be a much better option, if it’s available.

It is at 4440 for two

Actually thanks for your help Mr.S. I booked Emirates for 2 for 1200 euro. Can't beat that price and as you said the difference will go towards nice hotels etc if Emirates had of been closer to 2k for both then I would of hopped on KLM flights

Have travelled numerous long haul flights with both and I prefer klm. Hard to pinpoint exactly why, their flights just feel more relaxed.

If you've booked & paid already, then wait until a few days before the flight & you will get a chance for a paid upgrade.

Did that journey last year. Dublin-Dubai was basic.
Dubai-Bangkok was on the A380 so a much superior service. Was an additional €1000 each at the airport.
We chose window seats so each our own cabins, silver service, bar at the tail end. Quite enjoyable.

    Thanks for the advice lads.

If anyone has any Emirates air miles they won’t use I’d appreciate them..
