Threads gone on my rear derailleur hanger plate

I took the bike out of the boot of the car and put the wheels back on to find the rear derailleur had come away from the frame.
My Tiagra derailleur is the type where the hanger part is bolted on the inside of the frame at the drop-out by two tiny bolts that pass through from the outside of the drop-out. The hanger plate becomes part of the drop-out for the wheel axle.
It seems the threads are completely gone in the two holes in the hanger plate so the derailleur is no longer being held securely to the frame.
It's the black part in the photo. Can these plates be bought separate does anyone know?

Yup, they are designed break off to protect the frame. As MB says, there are many types. You LBS should have a selection but many have to be ordered specially.

If you bought the bike new you almost certainly have one, manufacturers ship you a spare along with those crappy plastic pedals.

That would work. Remember that the dropout is pretty much clamped in place by the wheel's axle so it's only when the wheel is off that the derailleur is likely to fall off.
