Hey guys. Just looking for people's advice over my new car. I'm currently driving a 2L 2015 Leon FR 184 bhp. I have it on PCP and the 3 years are up. As most of you probably know the 184 looks like it isn't going to be coming back. My dealer is telling me the new Leon is supposed to be launched some time next year but he doesn't know when. He's telling me to maybe have a look at a 150 bhp. What would your advice be? Would I notice a major difference between the 184 and the 150 or should I hold tough for the new Leon some time next year? Thanks.

I'd hold tight for the new one model to be honest, the only way I'd go with the current model again is if you were getting a super deal on it. When the new model is launched it will make the old one look dated and will also impact resale values in 3 years time. New Golf being launched next year too so worth having a look at that too.

Is there a reason why you want to change to same leon just with newer number plate?

I would personally stay with it until next leon out. It is bound to come out late 2019 or very early 2020.
From what I read next leon fr will have 204hp 2.0 diesel too.

If I would change car in your case, I would go with cupra. Thats of course if extra running costs wont be an issue.

Worth waiting and checking what skoda will show with new Vision. A competitor to this segment with hybrid drive train.

Ya I suppose all I wanted was something new but I’m very happy with the car so I’ll surely be able to hang on and see what’s coming!

With a new Leon just around the corner, I'd just hold on until it is revealed. You'll probably be kicking yourself when the new one is out if you go for a current one.

As with all vag products the styling doesn't change drastically it's hard to tell sometimes so disagree that the current model will look old it's very fresh and is more stylish than it's competitors including the golf new models aren't always better as well
