I'm 5 months pregnant and for the past month at least I can't sleep at night because I'm blocked up and can't breath properly. I'm smothering myself in Vicks which helps but the tiredness is building up. I've two young children and a busy full time job. Has anyone else experienced this and have any miracle cures?

Is the room too warm and drying out the air? What temperature is it?

Maybe that's the problem. The room is freezing - we are in the process of moving house and in a cold and damp rental. I currently have a hat, scarf and two jumpers on and a hot water bottle 😃.

What about a saline spray? Or there's an amazing product called Neilmed sinus rinse, basically a squeezy bottle and saline sachets and you squirt the saline solution up one nostril and let it run out the other side, and repeat vice versa, not cheap to buy but it works

I'd second sinus rinse, been using it for a long time now, religiously every morning, can be used several times a day when really bad. I also use a lot of olbas oil, this can be used in many ways, burned in oil burner, even sprinkled on pillows, be careful though, it is a strong oil, can burn eyes etc upon contact

Sterimar saline nasal spray is safe to use when pregnant.

You may have polops it's worth visiting a ENT specialist to see about removing them. I'd say the same to wanderer. Could also be a chronic sinus infection or you may need your sinuses removed.
The cold air should make it easier breathing not the opposite. Around 17 degrees when sleeping and make sure the room is properly vented.

Have you tried facial massage? I find it really works when my sinus are blocked. Do a quick google search of the pressure points and have a go. I get instant relief from it.
