2012 car or newer under 8k

MEGA BRO WOLF 5000

Hi all, friend has asked me for suggestions on a new car. He has just sold his 2016 1.6 diesel focus as it was getting wrecked and because of repayments on PCP so bare in mind he's used to driving a modern diesel with all the bells and whistles such as reversing camera and a decent entertainment system.

His requirements are:

2012 the oldest he will go.
Sub 8k.
Estate capable of pulling a trailer.
Decent looking so no Kias or Hyundai's.
Not a BMW (far too troublesome)
Diesel preferred obviously.

If it has a hitch that's a bonus!

He would probably get better value if he was willing to go to the UK or up North.

A decent spec 2012+ Avensis estate is doable for sub 8k.

Reliable
Good strong clutch for towing
Decent looking in the right colour and with anything other than steel wheels and hubcaps.
