is This satellite connection ok for online gaming?

    Guys, just wondering is a satellite connection ok for online gaming, would like to know before I buy an xbox1… just want to this for online so a decent connection is essential.

    I have a small white satellite dish on house that points towards a mast

    Heres a speed test from my current package which is a 5mb download/1mb upload package.

    Ping ms 28
    Download Mbps 4.70
    Upload Mbps 0.88

    Im presuming this isn't good enough, my provider has a 20mb download/ 1.5 mb upload - seems to be advertised as suitable for online gaming ..

    I suppose the main question is this type of satellite connection suitable?

    i get about 6 or 7 mb on a different package and i get by. Not wonderful but i get by
