    Hi

I am just out of contract with eir.
    I normally use about 500gb a month.
2 weeks into November I was about 200gb.

Today I checked on the myeir app and I have downloaded 1700gb!!

Something seriously wrong here with eir.

The my eir checker seems to be malfunctioning. If you click "view historical usage" underneath you should get a more accurate count.

That link is not on my 'myeir' app.

All I see for usage is 1700GB/unlimited.

I don't use the app. If you log into https://my.eir.ie/ in a browser it should be there.

They are having something if a disaster with customer service at the minute. This is just another episode in the list I'm afraid.

What is the story with the closing of the eir boards forum? Pulled by eir?

They are currently bringing back all customer service roles in-house. Lots of staff have been made redundant and rumours are that the changeover is not going smoothly. I assume the closure of the Talk To forum is related to that. Whether it returns remains to be seen.

What was your download limit and how much did you use?
It was good of them to lower the bill by so much.

You can decide to not pay it and wait for the letters and phone calls form debt collectors. Your credit rating will probably take a hit over it.

historical is usually reasonably accurate but is 24-48 hours behind.
