    1. There is a manhole left loose on the road following Irish Water works. Can you help?

    Please confirm the exact location of the manhole and we can look into this matter for you.

    2. We have been granted planning for a house subject to receipt of a letter from Irish Water to permit relocation of a foul sewer. Can you look into this?

    Please send us a PM with the below details so that we can look into this further:

    - Your full name;
    - Your contact number;
    - Your planning application number;
    - The address of the property in question; and
    - Your Irish Water reference number if available.

    3. We have no water from our cold kitchen tap this morning and are not aware of works taking place in our area.

    would you mind sending us a PM with the below details so that we can look into this for you?
    - Name;
    - Address;
    - Contact number; and
    - If your neighbours are also affected.

    4. I’m carrying our repairs internally and my inside stop valve has seized, can I disconnect my supply from the meter box outside my property?

    In order to turn off your supply from the public mains to your property, you can switch your supply off using the outside stop valve located in your meter box.

    If there is a blue handle inside the meter box, it must be pressed down until it clicks. To turn off the water from the mains supply, turn the valve handle one quarter of a rotation clockwise. To turn on the water supply turn the valve handle one quarter of a rotation anti-clockwise.

    Once the works are complete you can turn back on your supply, as the outside stop valve is on publicly accessible land.

    5. I’ve concerned about the taste of my supply in the recent weeks. Can you help?

    Please send us a PM with the below details so that we can look into this for you:

    - Name;
    - Full address;
    - Contact number;
    - If your neighbours are also affected; and
    - If you live in an apartment.
