Is there anyway to transfer what's on my virgin box in one room to another TV in another room and still change the channel?

There are devices similar to this one with IR controllers

Of course that does depend on you having the necessary ethernet cable run from one room to the other.

You could also do it with a HDMI cable from one room to the other (if the distance is not great).

In either of the above cases you would need a HDMI Splitter ..... one in and two out
    Maybe something like this

there are cdmi over cat.5e adapters, make sure it has the IR option on it though, you stick a little IR blaster to the virgin media box and away you go, there is also IoT boxes that allow you to 'replace' remote controls and use an app on your phone instead that would work, but may be overkill.

The Horizon box (assuming that is what the OP has) uses RF not IR so none of the remote extender devices will work with it.

Because it is RF there is a possibility that the Horizon remote will work from the second room without an extender.

I tried mine and it works with one wall between it and box as well as from the room above the box,

The app also has a remote built in
