clever by Carty, great break by Healy in the build up

Great try and a super kick from Carty to put Kelleher in handy.

Big breeze we seem to against in the first half too. 10-0 and two really difficult kicks between the posts.

    10-0 good start

Dillane having a good game so far too. Type of game where the tackles on him are limp and he'll make yardage hopefully.

Q: How was that not a penalty for collapsing the maul?

A: Clancy. That's how. Absurd decision.

Can’t argue with the SA commentary on that YC. Gotta make it count though

Clancy saw the sweaty mess state that Carey was in and like any decent human being didn't want to make his day any worse.

Lovely move for that try. Great first half

Lucky with the yellow but have taken advantage of it. Thought that last pass from TO’H was borderline but will take it!

    HEALY!!!!!!

3rd try of the math. 7-22 with a conversion to come.

Brilliant conversion from Carty from the touchline against the wind.

Was toh pass to Healy slightly forward?

I thought so too. Take it. Nice to see a bit of ruthlessness when we get an advantage. 14 points with the extra man. Get the 4th and blow it up ref.

    That pass was definitely forward.

    HAHAHAHAHA

Carty getting some love from the Saffers commentary.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,473 ✭✭✭Wegians89

Crap. What a tackle from Kelleher there....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,245 ✭✭✭ClanofLams

Only brought 25 players I think. Can’t afford too many injuries

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,879 ✭✭✭Redo91

Are they still down to 14? If so we have a bad habit of conceding when teams are down a man or two this season.

really enjoyed that try from Kings
That thunderous hit from Kelleher in there is worth acknowledging though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,245 ✭✭✭ClanofLams

Should have considered scrum there surely given how dominant it has been

    Gwan Boyler. Great stuff

A TBP victory would (atleast until around 5pm when the Munster-Zebre will be over) have us 2nd in the Conference

It’s impressive how Connacht are in a good position in the conference and there’s clearly so much more room for improvements. Genuinely think, if results are good over interpros Connacht could finish 2nd

farrell having an uncharacteristic error strewn game

Let's worry about beating Cheetahs first!

The commentary has been a joy today. SA commentary has done so much research, even just hearing them say Gallagher has been suffering a lot of injuries recently. A lot of Irish pundits could take a few notes on the professionalism here.

Most of them would look at you with ten heads at the mention of Cillian Gallagher

They're also amazingly unbiased, very fair in their assessments.

Crucial result and they get their 4 tries not playing to their best by any means.

One thing I would say is that Healy was absolute slaughtering on his wing and we still didn't give him as much ball as we could've.

Hopefully SOBII's substitution was precautionary and he'll be sound for next week.

Looked to be a good Connacht crowd over their too in fairness to them.

Cheetahs game is a big one next week. Win and there’s a split in the conference.

    Lose and its wide open.

    Carty MOTM

Six day turn around. Could be trouble if Buckley is injured, could cope if sob isn’t fit with Copeland out there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,974 ✭✭✭connachta

Hope Buckley was precautionary, McCabe was really really good you have to note.
Boyle TBP was important, right timing
