If you post a package on a Saturday will it be delivered on Monday or Tuesday.

Both buyer and seller are based in the west of Ireland

Most likely Tuesday as they won't collect from post office until Monday, if the post office is a bit in a remote area it could even be Wednesday.

My PO (Dublin) won't take Speedpost packages (Registered) if the van isn't doing a collection that evening. Say the van comes Thursday at 5 at 5.20 they won't take a package. No overnight storing due to the potential value of items.

Not sure if that's network wide but you may find it is.
