Cheque clearing time

Hi all,I deposited a BOI cheque into my AIB account on Wednesday 21st at 1pm..... would this mean the funds will be available on Tuesday 27th? Or is the day I deposited it not classed as one of the working days it takes to clear and the funds will not be available until Wednesday 28th? Thanks
