If a man cheats within the first year of marriage, is the marriage doomed?

If a man/woman cheats at any stage it is doomed.

Is this a real life situation or a hypothetical? If it’s a real life scenario then you have to look at why someone felt the need to cheat. Was it because they are inherently disloyal or was there an underlying reason. If so can that be worked on?

My own opinion is that it is very difficult to get past infidelity as no matter how bad it is to bring yourself to be with someone else is a step that can rarely be reconciled. Bit more information is needed. But on the face of it yes it’s doomed.

Hi OP. Can you please clarify if this is a personal issue for you? This is an advice forum, so if your question is just for general discussion, I'm afraid we cannot allow it to remain open.
