    Hi,
I need to get some cat5e/6 cable (non cca preferably) for running down an external wall on the outside. Before I go to the usual (amazon), anyone know any good places to get this? Likely need a large spool as I might be running some in my fathers house also. Plus need a crimper and tester.

If not, I'll go with amazon/ebay.

    Cheers.

    Chris.

freetv.ie ....... great service and should have all you require.

I would specifically look for cat5e that is suited for outdoor use ...... this cable is different and dearer than standard ethernet cable.

As cat5e is 1Gb/s capable I doubt cat6 would be much of an advantage, except it might be more robust.

Fairly cheap on there! Have you got cable off them before?

I would be inclined to check with them .... found them very responsive.

They might not be able to provide what you need, but worth checking IMO.

    ;)
