    Has anyone bought the Redmi 6 from Three Ireland and is it locked to their network?

    Xiaomi devices are not locked to Three.



    But you should avoid that entry level CRAP Mediatek CPU device.

    If your buying through the free bill pay offer, have a look at the better Redmi Note 5, instead.

    Thanks! I might look at the Mi A2 lite instead with the Snapdragon 625.

    Note 5 @ 139.99 at the moment. Has the 636. Great value for money.

    thankfully The redmi Note 5 has Snapdragon octacore - I never have got on very well with MTK , i know they are normally on the cheaper/budget phones from China normally - I havent tried the MTK Helio phones yet though
