Amazon.de - should I refund?

So I'm purchasing a graphics card through amazon.de because I don't want to pay exorbitant customs duty on US import. I also wanted the device as soon as possible, so I went with the product and service that gave fastest delivery (along with other criteria).

The product that I bought stated a delivery between November 12 and November 15 meaning I'd only be waiting about a week. Happy days!

Then I got an email on the 12th saying that
Unfortunately we can or the following from your Amazon.de order of 05 November 2018 does not send as intended

At the same time, we point out that the order status of an article
can change very quickly. It is therefore not excluded that you already
have received a shipping confirmation prior to this email. In this case,
Your article on the way to you and the news of the delay
    pointless.

You can see the current status of your order in the order overview under "My Account"

Right - so I did what the message stated and checked the status, which said delivery between 20th and 23rd November.

This was annoying, but... whatever. However today I got a similar email, now stating

    Estimated delivery: 03 December 2018

I don't ever remember getting a delay message with an Amazon order before, let alone two. The product is in stock in the store - always has been. Is this some sort of scam - is it likely that I'll get a message on the 2nd December saying

"Unfortunately we can or the following from your Amazon.de order of 05 November 2018 does not send as intended, new estimated delivery 2nd-4th January" ?
