Squealing clutch and burning smell

    2011 citroen c4 1.6hdi.
    Clutch squeals when depressed.
    Burning smell after driving for a while.

    Going to a local Indy in the morning, I'm thinking either the release bearing or the clutch has shat itself..


    Looks like a new clutch anyway?

    What do you mean by clutch looks new?
    Was the flywheel done also?

    Sorry my bad - depending on bhp you will prob need flywheel also
    Some of the lower bhp models are solid from the factory - in which case a 3 piece is all you need
    , but most are dual mass , so you would need a 4 piece kit
    Its how we normally sell kits for those
