Hi, I would be so grateful for some advice/help!

i'm trying to buy some large electrical items from Curry's PC world (an American fridge freezer, an oven and a dishwasher). I went to the carrickmines shop 2 weeks ago and spoke to a sales rep who helped me pick out the makes/models I would like to buy. I was waiting for the black Friday sale to buy them as the sales rep told me literally everything in the store would be discounted. she advised that instead of going to the shop on black Friday as it will be so busy and I am heavily pregnant, that I could reserve the items the day before the sale and buy them discounted on Friday.

however, when I got home I went on the website just to figure out how I would go about reserving the items on Friday and it turns out none of them can actually be reserved! I have called Curry's customer service 6 times now over the last 2 weeks and each time I am put through to the English call centre and no one there can give me any help whatsoever!! they keep telling me they have sent an email to Carrickmines asking someone to call me but no one has called

to make matters worse, I went on the UK website yesterday and the items I want to buy are hundreds of euro cheaper on the UK site. the oven is €300 cheaper and the fridge is €150 cheaper. Plus on the UK site a discount of £100 if you buy 2 kitchen items worth over £1000. if i bought the fridge and oven in the UK i would be saving over €550! this just seems incredibly unfair.

i called Curry's customer service again but again no one can help or even give an explanation. they just told me that they cant price match the items and that the Irish prices are what i would have to pay.

Can they do this? why are we charged so much more just because we are shopping from Ireland?

I am at my wits end at this point! I know I should just shop elsewhere but I've been to Curry's and picked out the stuff I like. It will be hard for me to get to another shop before Friday as I work full time.

if anyone has a suggestion as to how I could get in contact with the manager in Carrickmines I would be extremely grateful.

    thank you
