Oil burner flue

    Hello all.
I have an old indoor Grant kerosene central heating boiler
The burner was changed some years ago from the original Grant to a Bentone which has worked very well.
The old Grant burner had a housing around it with a flexie
pipe going out through the wall. There is no such housing needed around the present burner.
The flue goes out horizontally through the outer wall.
When the wind is blowing against that wall cold air is making its way into the room and making the whole area very chilly.
Q: Is there anything I can do to keep the cold wind out.
    Thanks

Ps..changing the boiler isn't on the cards anytime in the near future.

Any pictures of inside and out?
How is the burner getting the air supply for combustion?
is the hole where the flexi was still open?
[Have you a CO alarm fitted]

If so, i block the air intake with heat board and wrap a good few wraps of hi-temp tape around both,But either way there has to be sufficient air supply for the burner. This has to be checked before anything is done.
Alternatively you may be able to change the burner back to a balanced flue. This is a better job, what model bentone?
