Anybody have experience of insuring imported CAT's b,c,d..s and the new letters from UK. Is there a problem/premium?? Etc.
    Only people with experience.
    Many thanks

Cat A&B are not allowed back on the road. Cat C&D require an engineer's report to get insured. You should not have access to a Cat A vehicle as the owner/insurer is obliged to have the vehicle destroyed at a licensed facility

    A word of advice - don't.

W/o imports aren't worth the hassle.

Anybody lately import a CAT c/d..s/n. How did you get on with insurance? Did you need an engineer's report for s and or n. Was the car sold with an engineer's report?
