    Hi
I have a mennekes type 2 home charger for my phev and it has been working well up to now . Now it’s not charging and all the lights which were usually green are now red . It has been out in the rain a bit so I wonder has it fried or is it fixable . Any advice appreciated.

    Make/model of charge point?

They are designed to be outside so rain shouldn’t matter.

It’s type 2 so I had it plugged into an extension lead . The code is ic cpd 1

What does the manual say about the red lights?

What make and model of charge point is it... not the type of plug at the end.
And what PHEV are you driving?

Is it a Rolec, a Zappi etc etc?
Without knowing the make and model no one can tell you what the lights signify.

Since you have mentioned extension leads it sounds like its a grany cable that goes into a 3-pin socket?

Maybe post a pic of it showing it and the lights and you might get some answers then.

    Did you try resetting it?

Power it off at the fuse and see if it goes back to green.

Putting 2 and 2 together, and hopefully arriving at 4, I think the OP has an EVSE made by Mennekes.
