So men, women, boys, girls whatever you'd like to be called.
I'm thinking of getting a Tailored Suit, make myself look presentable, (I'm sick of being the only business casual person at important events). I'm 18 Male and have pretty much stopped growing 5,11.

So can you recommend a good Tailor, who makes good suits in Dublin City.

Also do you know of any place that makes Tailored Overcoats and Custom made Fedora's (The fedora isn't for me, it's going to be a Christmas present for a friend, for once I wish I was joking)

My total price range is 0-2000 at the moment.

    Just looking for recommendations.

You won’t get a good bespoke suit, overcoat and hat in Ireland for under 2000. I don’t even know if we have any bespoke mens hatmakers here actually.

I know you say you’re 18 and have stopped growing but that’s most like not true. Most guys have another growth spurt around 21/22.

I’d suggest investing in a good off the rack suit and spending money on getting that tailored for your body now, rather than spending thousands.

You should keep an eye out for Black Friday offers on suits, and then as baby and crumble says get it tailored. I think this is what most people mean when they say their suits are tailored, custom tailored etc, getting a full suit from scratch is serious money.

Hats wise, what is it about the hat you need that it can't be off the shelf? Anthony Peto on South Anne St will get you whatever ribbon or feather you want to go on hats from their collection, and can make you up the right size if it's not in stock. John Shevlin worth a look as well.

You're young, 18. You don't need to get a bespoke suit made. Sorry. It's a bit of a waste of money at this early stage of your clothes wearing experience.

Like the above post, I'd recommend you get a few off the rack suits and see what you like, what styles work for you, colours, materials etc. You could get a grey check suit made and in a year's time be fed up with it.

I would recommend Suitsupply. They have a fantastic range and are made with very high quality wools, the same that Louis Copeland use in many cases (I've had this proven in person).

Their prices are very good and you get free delivery and returns so if something doesn't fit, you can send it back no problem. Their fits are usually very contemporary, so you can expect things to be on the more fitted scale.

With €2k you could come away with about 5 suits! But you should also leave money aside for good shoes, shirts, and ties.
