    Hey all,
I've been training 10 years and know muscle building/fat loss Like a pro.
I've been looking into possibly doing it part time as a side hussle
Would a gym be willing to take me on? Would I need a qualification or cert?
    What advice would someone give?
    Thanks.

Yes you need a qualification/cert. Gyms aren't going to just let some randomer work as a PT. PT are a dime a dozen now a days. It's not an easy market to make money in.

I've completed my PT certs a few years back, out of personal interest. You'll definitely need to get your certs (EQF Level 4) to get a job in the industry. One thing I did notice when I was completing my certs were the amount of people who struggled with the course because the felt they knew so much already. Some of the lads with that frame of mind failed the course or didn't sit the exams in the end. The ETM (exercise to music) was a massive hurdle for them. Some of the theory, anatomy and myology springs to mind, was a massive struggle also. Training in the gym to your level, which will be very high in comparison to a huge majority of your client base, is not the same as being an instructor or PT.

W.r.t. courses, where are you based?

The national training centre off Dorset street have an evening course which starts in January. The course takes eighteen weeks or so, if I remember correctly. I enjoyed it. Any questions, feel free to drop me a PM.
