I'm looking for recommendations for a good ADSL router. I just switched from Sky to Pure Telecom and the router supplied by Pure isn't great, no 5GHz wifi and not very configurable. Looking for one with decent wifi that could maybe take a custom firmware to increase the feature set and configurability. My connection speed is probably max 5mbps, at least it was with Sky, and fibre is a long way off for me. Any recommendations will be welcome, Thanks.

What budget are we talking ?

That will very much define, what you can/will get.

Is that the Technicolor router, that Pure Telecom are supplying you with ?
