    Hi Guys,
we are currently building our home and i'm looking for recommendations for a Sub woofer, a center and fronts, i have DALI Phatom H60s as the rear speakers. The Tv will be over the fire. The room is open plan so want a chucky sub that can fill the room, are sound bars as good a dedicated center?. Oh and also looking for a receiver too. Any advice would be great.
    Thanks

    Hi Covey09.

    Thanks for the post.

You can not use a soundbar as a centre speaker in a 5.1 setup. Soundbars would be used by customers who can not or do not want to have wires and speakers around there living room. They do not have any speaker connections that would allow you to connect to an amp.
While some sound very good indeed, it really is hard to beat a 5.1 system.

If you wanted to stick with Dali you could go for the
Dali Zensor 1, Zensor Focal centre and the E9F sub.
I could offer these as a package deal at £637 down from £747

or add in the larger E12F sub for a total of £742

For a receiver you could have a look at the Sony STRDN1080 priced at £429.00

Denon have the AVRX2400 priced at £299
    https://www.richersounds.ie/p-13044-denon-avrx2400-black-atmos-av-receiver.aspx

Or its repalcement the AVRX2500 priced at £499.00 - I could offer one of these discounted to £440 if purchased along with speakers.
