Vokera Pressurised Boiler

    Hi all,

I had a couple of rads and valves leaking and the boiler started losing pressure. I had a plumber replace four rads valves but when he pressurised the system it kept losing pressure and won’t turn on. The boiler comes on for a minutes and in that time flashes green once then turns to red.

He was hoping to run a sealer through the system to fill any leaks but can’t do it if the boiler doesn’t fire up.

Could it be the boiler itself?

    Thanks in advance

It depends. If it’s the fault of low pressure then it could possibly be the cylinder coil. If so then the leak sealer won’t work. If it’s dropping that much pressure after a minute then it’s a BIG leak

    Thanks Dto1979.

It takes about 10 minutes for the pressure to go from 2 bar to 1 bar. When I said it comes on for about a minute I meant before it times out. It sounds like it’s coming on but it doesn’t actually fire up.

I’d have someone look at the boiler and system. Your plumber doesn’t seem too clued in
