Wisdom Tooth Extraction (non surgical) still a bit sore after 7 weeks?

I had one of my upper wisdom teeth taken out non-surgically in the dentists a little over 7 weeks ago.

It all went perfectly smoothly. The tooth came out in one piece without leaving any root tips, there was no bleeding really at all and it didn't hurt.

Everything looks fine but I have this slightly odd 'ache' in the extraction site for the past week or so. It's like a very mild toothache. I don't know if it's just being caused by items pressing against the gum when I chew, or if it's something to be worried about.

The gum isn't swollen and looks fine.

Also I was wondering if there's any reason to get the other upper wisdom taken out. The one that was removed was causing a lot of issues with cheek biting and so.

I'm also just wondering how not having a tooth above the lower wisdom works? Surely I'm now pressing things against my gum when I chew?
