Google Play Music drag-down menu not available

    Hi,

    I'm not sure if this is phone specific or app specific.

    When I play Google Music, through a widget or through the app, the on screen controls are not available. I cannot play/pause/skip songs through the drag down menu or though the lock screen. They never appear anymore.

    When I use apps such as PodcastAddict, the ability is there which leads me to believe that it is app-specific.

    Anyone have any idea what might cause this?
