Got a 2010 Mazda 6 a few weeks ago and need to get rid of the headunit so I can use a USB stick again with my musics (Effort of CD's)

Where would you fine people recommend looking for suitable units?
It's a Bose system in the car and I'm looking to retain the steering wheel controls as well, so there will be adapters needed.

There's a fantastic side called Crutchfields, but they won't deliver outside the US..

Setup and an AdressPal account and they will delivery stuff from the US or UK from reseller that will not deliver to Ireland.

An Post AdressPal will collect in the US and deliver to Ireland.

AddressPal USA items should be delivered into our US Hub before Wednesday the 12th of December.

With the USA AddressPal virtual address, customers can have their items tracked and delivered to their home address

Already had one set up from before so ended up using that as I couldn't find anything here that I was happy enough with.

Should have everything next week all going well, than comes the job of ripping the car apart to fit it.

Just remember that you may get stung for customs duty/vat if it's coming from outside the EU irrespective of using a post forwarding service.

Being an post, I'd be fairly confident I will get hit with customs as it was just under 400 quid all in.

Yep and they won't release it until you pay it.

Bare in mind too that the fm frequency is different on us spec headunits compared to uk spec models so make sure the frequency can be changed on the head unit you are buying or else you won't pick up any stations.

I actually never thought of that...

It looks to be on the US bands which go up in.2 increments on the odd numbers.
Mostly that'll be grand as the few stations I listen to seem to end in odd numbers anyway.
May look into seeing if I can get the frequency adjusted..

Thread was opened a few weeks ago, I've already bought a radio and accompanying cabling, although now I think the radio may be a problem, but I'll deal with that when it eventually gets here.
