Acrylic vs. Ceramic all on four implants

Does anybody have experience of the all on four implants? Today I had a consultation with a dentist. She told me there are two choices for the all on four implants. The choices are acrylic and ceramic.

She told me people who go for the acrylic all on four implants normally get them replaced about every 3 years. Is that true? I thought the all on four was fitted for life? I have seen dentists who offer a lifetime guarantee for the all on four.

Which is better acrylic all on four or ceramic all on four?

    Ask the dentist again.

No acrylic lasts about 7-10 years, but only the acrylic parts need replacing the implants and metal bar dont wear out usually.

Any dentist offering a lifetime guarantee is codding you. They will guarantee the implant screw which never breaks anyway, they wont guarantee your integration or the wear and tear on the prosthesis.

Ceramic is generally better, but if its done right it will cost about twice as much.

Maybe get a second opinion from a specialist recommended to you buy your trusted family dentist.
