    Hi all,

long time lurker on this forum..there's some seriously nice watches here in the "post a pic of your.." thread.
I've been toying with the idea of getting myself a watch - first in a long time.
Of course, the more you look, the more choice you have - just like the local Indian menu on a Friday night! I'm in the lower end budget wise, up to approx. €250
I do have a couple of type/style preferences, but just wondering what's the general consensus on Junker watches - good/bad.

    cheers,

I don't know much about the actual pieces - I've heard they're a decent brand, but maybe at the higher end of the price range for what you get.

I do like the history behind the name - it's probably an unrelated company that acquired the rights, but it's still cool. I'd get one.

OP, I have the 6060-5 bauhaus for a couple of years. I love the watch, keeps time well. Rotor is a little loud but very happy with it.

I think I read somewhere that the Miyota 821 movement tends to stutter but a lot of watch companies use them, Laco comes to mind, so they probably aren't that bad.

thanks for the replies folks, and @ guitarhappy - I hadn't heard of Laco before but had a look at their site, some nice pieces there too, much appreciated!
