    Anyone know of any companies where I can take a policy out in my name for a car registered to a parent

    No insurer will do this. Just re-register the car into your own name.

    Liberty insurance will do this.

    Tried and tested 3 years in a row.

    It even gives the option when purchasing online. Anyone who doubts look for yourself

    I specifically rand liberty before completing the initial purchase and they said it was okay that it was a parents car and there would never be a problem if I had a claim
