Transferring allowances to new employer

Just a quick question regarding starting a new job. P45 has been issued and uploaded to ROS by old employer yet allowances have not yet been transferred to new employer. Can this be done within MyAccount on ROS or do Revenue have to do it. The person in question has tried ringing Revenue but just gets an automatic message stating saying there is correspondence on file and it will be dealt with in due course. He is concerned as the end of year is nigh and he needs it sorted before then.
    Thanks in advance

He can register new employment on My account. Revenue wont kniw unless employee or new employer tell them.

He can register with myaccount, via the revenue website.
I do payroll and I've had problems with 2 new employees in the last month - we split their allowances last week - one persons were ok, the other person still hasn't got theirs.

3 people were taken on at the same time - we only received the information back for one within 1 week, when we rang revenue they said it all had to be done online (online system wasn't even working)

Many thanks for the quick responses. Both employments are currently showing on his profile but all the allowances are still with the old employer and zero with the new one. Can he transfer them over himself ?

Sorry, I should have made it clearer in my last post.

Yes, he can transfer them himself, via myaccount - but there is no guarantee Revenue will pass on the info to the new employer (this is what happened in my job) the new job can use the details on his P45 until he receives info from revenue, but once they have the info from revenue they have to use that.
He can also register his new job himself via myaccount - if his new employer are a bit slow about it.
