Installing iplayer on LG tv (set to Ireland)

Hi If your smart tv is set to Ireland for the apps is it possible to load the iplayer from the content store. I currently have the tv set to uk to get English players but of course Now Tv won't work then as I have an Irish account. Thanks

My understanding is that bbc iplayer content is geolocked to the UK so you'd require a vpn to install and view the iplayer.
