N5000 Processor OK?

It's a relatively low power chip, but it is quad core and it does have a burst clock of 2.7Ghz, but a normal clock of 1.1Ghz. I would reckon it's not too bad, so long as you're not running anything too processor intensive and have reasonable expectations.

Cheers, the other option would be a Pentium Gold 4415u, but it seems on paper the N5000 is better?

the 4415u is more powerful but the n5000 is perfectly fine for browsing, ms office type work. won't do games very well but either will the 4415u really.

the n5000 has the advantage that in some laptops like the acer swift 1 it doesn't need to have a fan to cool the cpu due to lower power usage so it can be quieter and have longer battery life.

benchmarks do not tell the whole story but the 4415u gets 3100 and the n5000 2450

the n5000 with an ssd drive will be a smooth running laptop.

that lenovo has an older type spinning drive which is way slower. an ssd would be far better to have.

it' also only has a 720p screen as opposed to 1080p screen.
