    Who is he?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,628 ✭✭✭brevity

It’s sad but he lived a great life. Saw several generations of people grow up to enjoy his creations over a number of different formats.

He always seemed enthusiastic to talk to anyone about comics and characters - he will be missed.

I expected these kind of responses in after hours, not here. All replies there were respectful.

Are any of them the originators of billion dollar film franchises?

I'll miss his cameos in all the Marvel films.

Did a video about what Stan meant to me , maybe it can help show some that he wasn't just some guy and why it is a tragedy

Not sure if someone dying at the age of 95 is a tragedy.

My son only rescued him today, on Marvel Lego Superheroes. Switched to the TV and there he was with the sad story of his death.

He had such a huge influence on a certain segment of movies through the massive amount of characters he created over his very productive life.

My favourite of his creations was the Incredible Hulk

Dying at 95 isn’t a tragedy. He had s good innings and left a big mark on this planet but let’s not get carried away.

Wow, he was married just shy of 70 years. Poor guy.

And Lee was actually her second husband.

Its a bit tragic, it highly likely he was manipulated and exploited in his later years by those close to him including his daughter so its not exactly like he was having a grand old time.
